Kali Linux is a rising star among Linux distros. As successor of Backtrack, its popularity as penetration test distro is increasing. But today, I won’t talk about Kali Linux. This post will talk about a book for people who are interested in network security, especially in penetration testing area. Hi readers. It’s been a long time since my last post. Today I’ll give you a review about a book titled Programming MapReduce with Scalding. From the title, we can see that this book is about Big Data technology. MapReduce is a new programming model for large data processing. If you know Hadoop and its part, you’ll understand MapReduce. But this book doesn’t talk about Hadoop much, it mostly talks about large data processing with Scala. Scala is a kind of new programming language which looks like Java.

It’s another review of book from Packt Publishing. This time, I’ll tell you a review about a book of Cloud Computing. I haven’t finished reading this book yet, just read a few chapters. But my impression about this book is a bit disappointed. Actually, the topic of this book is very interesting. This book is all about building your own private cloud using a tool called OpenStack. If you have basic knowledge about Linux and VirtualBox, especially its command line, you won’t get troubled. Most content of this book are Linux shell command.
