Long Live Open Source Software !!

I’m sure, most of people here have deleted their files by accident. Sometimes, a problem with harddisk can remove your important data. After that accident, all we can do is try to recover out important data. But the question is, HOW? Many recovery software out there, but most of them isn’t free. But if you don’t have much money, how can you recover your data?

The answer for that problem is Recuva. Recuva (pronounced “recover”) is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!

Recuva is free but not open source software. It’s too bad. But you don’t have to spend your money to buy a recovery software. Just download Recuva from its download page. Unlike the other article in this site, Recuva only avalaible in Windows. So, to install Recuva just double click the installer file and follow the on-screen instruction.
