Unfortunately, PyTube package doesn’t exist in Ubuntu repository. So you must download it from another site like getdeb. And then install it using dpkg -i pytube_0.0.11.4~getdeb1_all.deb. Don’t forget to run that command as root, otherwise your linux pc will scold you. . Oh, FYI, PyTube doesn’t support using proxy. So, you must have direct connection to get this application working properly.
Note: This application requires ffmpeg compiled with mp4 and 3gp support wich can be found on the Medibuntu repository.
